  • The identity of people submitting reports
  • Whether reports are made in good faith

Always exercise caution when responding to missing person reports or contacting submitters.

Not a Substitute for Official Channels

Help Connect JA does not replace official missing person reports to:

  • Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF)
  • Local police stations
  • Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM)

If someone is missing, always file an official police report in addition to using our platform.

No Guarantee of Results

We make no guarantees that:

  • Missing persons will be located
  • Information will lead to successful reunions
  • Reports will receive tips or responses
  • Our service will meet your specific needs

  • We are not responsible for the outcomes of missing person cases
  • We are not liable for any harm arising from the use of our platform
  • We are not responsible for the actions of users responding to reports
  • We cannot be held liable for inaccurate information posted

Emergency Situations

In life-threatening emergencies, always call:

  • Emergency Services: 119 (JCF), 110 (Fire/Ambulance)
  • ODPEM: 1-888-DISASTER

Do not rely solely on Help Connect JA for urgent situations.

Reporting Suspicious Activity

If you believe a report on our platform is:

  • False or fraudulent
  • Being used to locate someone for harmful purposes
  • Violating privacy or safety
  • In any way suspicious

Please report it immediately via Instagram @helpconnectja so we can investigate and remove if necessary.
